04 450R with IMS 13 liter tank - how many trailrding kms?

How many kms to a tank do you guys gets if you're doing trailriding?

14/48 gearing - no racing just doing a point to point overnight trailride.

Would I get 200km out of her? (ie 15.5km/liter)

If you do a search there were some posts a few months ago about mileage.

It depends on how your riding. I ride mostly in tight woods, first and second gear, and get no worse than 25mpg (~10.5km/liter). But when I've riden in open country, third through fifth gear riding, I've gotten as good as 45mpg (~19km/liter). If you've got it geared up that much you must be doing high speed open country, so with a 3.5gal tank you should be fine going 125miles.

If your concerned about fuel, I've found that the platypus colapsable water bottles that they sell in camping stores will hold up to gasoline. I let one sit for a month full of fuel on my garage floor with the occasional toss at the wall to simulate getting jarred around on my bike. They make a bunch of sizes and are pretty cheap. You can empty them into your tank soon after your ride starts then roll them up and store them away easily.
