I was reworking my front forks valving according to the directions on the Pigpen site http://www.xr650r.us/forks/ I did the first fork went without a problem. But when I was drilling the valve holes out on the second fork I drilled slightly off center on one of the holes. It chipped away a very small section at he end of one of the holes. The chip was on the side of the valve that seats up to the valve shims. So now oil would be able to pass through that hole with out the valve shim flexing. I hope one of you suspension guys will know what I am talking about. Will this create an issue as to the functioning of the suspension on that fork? If so is there anyone out there who had their forks re-valved who might want to sell me a stock compression fork valve?
