I need a green sticker 250

I live in so cal. I want to buy a new green sticker-ed bike. 05 or 06. I just want a bike I can ride year round. It will be a sand and trail bike. Most of my friends ride red sticker so I would like to be competitive if possible. I am so frustrated with this. The people selling the bikes don't even know what they are. Any suggestions would be great. I am a new rider after having a 15 year break.

Forget any MX bike. You will have to get an enduro model.

Honda CRF250X or 2006 Yamaha WR250F

Or the 450's from Honda, Yamaha, KTM

Of course, you could get a CRAF500R, 2-stroke 500cc Service Honda.

Green sticker legal! It's the only green sticker 2-stroke over 49cc due to it's 2006 green sticker frame and an older engine stuffed in the frame.

why don't you get a grownup bike? ktm 450xc, husky te450 and tc450. wr450. all greensticker bikes with good motor reliability and very strong motors.
