MB1 Suspension

Recommended Posts

Have any of you had your suspension revalved by MB1? If so what do you think of it afterwards? I am thinking of using them but I thought I would see if anyone had anyinput on this.. :banghead:

The work will be done on a 05 crf 450 r that I race the vet expert class with. Any help would be appreciated.... :applause:

do most of these companies work on both types of forks showa and kayaba

Yes they do but certain companies are known for their prowness with one type of suspension. MB1 is considered a Showa specialist and I suppose you could say Enzo or Factory Connection specialize in KYB

While RG3 has alot of exposure related to Showa from it's Suzuki relationship, they are every bit as versed with Kayaba. Their diamond kit is pretty cool stuff!

i ride supermoto and had RG3 do my last bike... it was pretty good. when i built my new bike i decided to use MB1 and loved it! much more plush, smooth, and PERFECT valving. i believe that because they are a smaller company, they take a little more time with yo and make it what you want exactly

I just received my 05 crf450r Showa suspension back from RG3. I also had the suspension link replaced with RG3 link. All I can say is that the difference is night and day vs. stock. Stiffer springs, MV4 valves, Torco Fork oil, and cool black anadizing! No more bottoming out and smooth plush ride all around the track at any speed. No longer to aggressive jump faces bottom out my suspension and I've never done any MB1 stuff, but I hear they are top of the line as well. RG3 or MB1 both set up pro riders' bikes so go figure....

I had the Diamond Kit done to my 04 CRF250R and the rear is amazing but I'am having a little trouble dialing in the front.Im surprised they didn't change springs for me because I weigh 140 pounds.
