GT Closed Today

Recommended Posts

Just got this from GT Ranger Station (wonder if BigBob got locked out, or if he's riding outlaw today? :banghead: ):

To All:

Due to the 1.2 inches of rainfall last night, the Rock Creek Trails are

closed to OHVs, bicycles and equestrians due to wet weather conditions.

The trails would remain closed until there has been a 24 hour drying

period. This is the first rain event since the dry summer period.

Please share with your contacts and organizations. Please call (530)

333-4312 or (530) 333-5580 for the latest information on the status of the

Rock Creek Trails. Thank you for your cooperation.

Will they open GT Wed. if it doesn't rain anymore?

Oldedude,

Are you on a distribution list for GT or something? Can anyone subscribe?

The message says 24 hour drying period, usually in the winter it's 48 hours, so they should open back up tomorrow if ther is no more rain.

I'm on their email list, I signed up at the ranger station but I think they'll sign you up if you just give them a call. The phone number is in the message of my first post.
