The Kawasaki KX450F has arrived.

Interesting how they got a person who has never ridden a 450 before to do the test ride. Why didnt they get someone who has ridden all of the 450s so they could compare?

Villopoto wasnt the only one out there dude. They had a whole bunch of Kawi developers out there...and all the testers at Kawi are more than familiar with there competitions equipment. this goes for all manufacturers.

I'm waiting for the bonehead statement "It's so terrible, Bubba won't race it for Supercross. He's still riding the 2-stroke." :banghead:

I'll be curious how the KX450F stacks up against the other 450F's.

Wow,

eight years after the release of the original 1998 YZ400F, Kawasaki brings it's version to the table.

Beware of first year models.

Just my opinion, everyone has one.

Looks like they wedged a Yamaha motor into a Honda frame and put greem plastic on it.

Wonder if it has the usual stinkbug stance that Kawi usually have?

Not a bad looking machine. Good to see more fresh meat for racing.

Hard to believe its been 8 years already :banghead:

Sometimes the first year models do have some bugs, sometimes they dont. The yz250f and crf 450 were pretty much bug free when they first came out. So was the crf250 execpt for those valves, but they still havnt fixed those🤣:applause: lol

Where they have the commentary, that's villopoto. When it Says, "When I hit the track..." That is Ping telling us about the bike.

It looks kinda tall to me, and I'm not so sure I care for the slope of the seat, would have to ride one though. My dealership buddy already has a 250F and will be getting a 450 soon, so I will get a chance to ride one myself.

:banghead:
