Street Legal In Michigan

Can anyone confirm the procedure in Michigan to make my XR-400 street legal. Baja kit is on order. Will it pass with the Stock off road tires?

It may but it shouldn't. You'll have to call your county sheriff and they will come and do a safety Inspection. Mine didn't even bother to check to see if the tires were DOT approved. He just looked at it and was only concerned about the VIN. Make sure you can read his hand writting and it matches the actual VIN. (Is that an 0 or an O, a 5 or an S).
