razormovie Posted September 29, 2005 anyone else pissed off that honda hasn't offered the crf450x in a street legal version from the factory yet? too many states are making it too difficult to ride off road these days. Here in Washington state you can be fined for crossing a forest service road with your dirt bike! I am so annoyed. In past years washington would let you convert your dirt bike quick and simple, but these days it is extreamly difficult. If you have a title for a bike that says "for off road use only" on it then you're screwed!
JoeHonda Posted September 29, 2005 In Oregon State forests, like Tillamook, it's legal to ride on the gravel roads with a dirt bike (or pretty much anything else). The result is that the trails are not contiguous and 50-80% of the miles you do in a day are on gravel roads. You guys have great riding areas in WA, stop whining. By the way, in Oregon you can license a 2-stroke Quad... if you want to
qadsan Posted September 29, 2005 The 2006 TE Huskey's are 50 state legal. Take a look at them if you haven't seen the 2006's cause they look real nice. You'll see more factory d/s bikes from Honda in the future, but right now your choices are limited unless you can get away with a conversion.
