Cheap 230 mods

Somebody can say it, doesn't mean I believe it. There's a small inertia loss to be had but as I pointed out there's other ways to get it & I don't need it or want it. IMO. Your money would be much better spent on big bore than buying a smaller weaker chain, but that's just my opinion.

the tri metal sidewinder 428 sprockets and chain are wayyyy stronger than stock

The stock stuff is bullet proof already. The 428 chain would have to be stronger material because the crossection is so much smaller. If it wasn't it'd just keep on stretching. The stronger material usually has less elongation [elongation: the amount it can stretch before it yields (yield: deforms to where it does not snap back to it's original shape)]. This causes it to break easier if you ever pick up a rock or any thing like that. The bigger chain is definitely tougher more durable & trouble free.

Try the 428 out & give us your unbiased report on it. Curious how it does after a couple seasons.
