Wanted: Rear Spring

I'm looking for a 4.9 rear spring for a 2004 250f.

Maybe somebody has one sitting around?

maybe check around for a wr spring. i harvested a 5.0 spring off of a 98 wr400 for my 250f. i don't know if they have softend them up, but it worth a check. you can always find stock spring rates at www.racetech.com when you do the springrate check.

hmmm... RaceTech spring rate calculator say's I need a 4.9 from the stock spring. I'll keep this in mind while I check this out.

I have found that Racetech's spring rate calculator is a little soft. They recommended a 6.2 for me and I got a 6.4 that I like, but it still may be a hair too soft.

i was sort of going the way of finding the stock spring rate of other bikes that share the same spring. i used it to find the stock spring rate for a 98 wr400, it just happend to be the same 5.0 spring i needed for my 250f. it saved me about $100.
