Ride report - new AC10s and punctured case

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

Just got back from a 3-hour ride with some friends. I was curious to see if the new front+back Michelin AC10 will be a nice fit, to the gravel/rocky terrain. It was a blast - plenty of grip, with predictable slides and turns. It was a damn good buy. Michelin says it can be reversed after some time, to keep even wear. Sounds weird.....

The thing is there was a guy in our group riding a '98 TT600R. While stopping for a cup of coffee on a camp fire, his bike fell on a rock , creating a hole the size of small coin on the case side :applause: - We plugged some epoxy in it, so he could drive home, but that made me polish my CFC🤣.

It's getting less hot here lately, so planning some good use for these new tires

:banghead:

I bought a set of those and wanted to get another but unfortunately the tires are back ordered. I now have a set of MT21's waiting.

When the "M" wears down on the rear, it's time to turn it around.

Too bad about you buddy.
