Can we make the stock signals brighter?

Was wondering if anyone has up sized the bulb on the OEM signals to get more visibiltiy? Hopefully without frying the wires

I haven't found a higher wattage bulb for the turn signals yet (#1156) , athough I am running a 15/50w (#1157h) halogen in the brake light and it seems to be handling the extra wattage just fine.

Thanks for the tip on the brake bulb I will have to give that a try. I will try to do some research to see if there is a halogen replacement for the turn signals.

You can never be too visible out there. I wish the DRZ had a big hammer that would come out and give people a little bonk on the head to pay attention when they turn right in front of you.

I have not tried them but supposedly the LED bulbs give brighter light. They should be direct replacement bulbs but cost more $$.

Yes they are brighter, but they will screw the flash rate up, unless you start playing with resisters.

You got that right!! I have a half a pound of Titanium in my right leg becuase of one of those people.
