front tire for yz125

Recommended Posts

AH 739, *makes cross out of fingers* hissssssss, bad. Now that I got that out of the way, I am sure it is a good tire for hardpack, like it was designed to do. But if you ride on anything other than hardpack, just don't do it.

I ride in sandy/black dirt type stuff and the Michelin S12 front and rear works great...

I am a novice rider though an have only ever had the stock Dunlop 739 on there, no other tires so there may be better models out there. This is just what was recommended to me and works great. :banghead:

yea.. the terrain changes around on the trails i ride around here.. sometime we dont get a good rain for a month, and the trails stay very loamy and dry, other months it will rain for days and all the loamy dirt turns to mud, so i dont think theres really any 1 tire that will do the trick, just looking for the best thing out there.. i put michelin starcross on my brothers ttr and it made it handle quite a bit better, so thats an option, just wish they were a little cheaper
