WR Jetting - HELP !

Recommended Posts

All,

I am looking for some jetting setups for a 2005 wr250f. We have the following done:

1) aftermarket air filter

2) some minor airbox trimming & 6 airbox vents added

3) Quickshot AC Pump cover

4) baffle removed

5) throttle stop corrected

6) grey wire cut

7) stock jetting

I am looking into the ACV mod & corrected jetting. Can anyone point me in the right direction for 1000 ft above sea level and the above mods being done ?

We are desperate ! Thanks !

Thanks ... This assumes a JD jet kit though ... I was hoping I could just change the factory jets to something that would work a little better to save some cash. Is the JD jet kit really worth the money for this bike ?

1.Throttle stop mod.

2.Grey wire disconect

3.Air box mod.

4.#40 leakjet

5.JD jetting kit installed per instructions for 05 wr 250

6.Yz pipe

7.2 turns out on fuel jet

8.Fabricated my own Power/James Now Valve per instructions in TT archieves.

My 2005 Wr 250 runs great now absolutely no bog and rips when ever I open the throttle. It almost runs as good as my 04 CRF 250, not quite as much low end as the CRF but much much better than stock. If you don't feel confident enough to make your own Power/James Now Valve. it's probably worth the money to buy one. Go to TT For Sale to look for a YZ pipe or eBay good luck.
