backinthedirt Posted October 7, 2005 The head bolts tighten in a diagonal pattern, two torques. 18 ft. lbs. on the first pass and 30.5 ft. lbs. the second time, again in a diagonal pattern. These are the specs on the '03 DR-Z250. Hope it helps. Pete Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I must come clean and say that this is for my NZ-250 roadbike which utilises the same engine but no info is available as they are a jap-domestic model.
