voltron Posted October 7, 2005 is a 142.5 dynojet main jet the same as the stock 142.5 on the bike
700AICS Posted October 7, 2005 yes. However, the DJ needle is smaller, so the effective size is larger........ The stated jetting is for use with the DJ needle.
drzrobbcanuck Posted October 8, 2005 if you don't have the dyno jet needle (all you use from the kit) but still want to do the 3x3, a good alternative (though I wasn't happy with it, because I probably didn't have my fuel screw set right) is to run a 150 main (they are "mikuni, small, round" by the way) and a 25 pilot ("mikuni, long, thin") and fuel screw at ??? no f**n idea, check the jetting page at the beginning of this forum
voltron Posted October 8, 2005 no i already re-jetted with stage one, but i had the dealer do it when i first got it. but i've gone through carbs since then. i think the dealer through away the stock jet.
