Dan Wask Posted October 10, 2005 One of my friends found a pair of 110/90/16 street tires at a swap meet. I'm looking to continue the flogging of my bike at the flat track races and I was wondering if I could a) fit these tires on the stock xr100 wheel, and if an xr100 rear wheel will fit between the front forks laced to the front hub with these tires on it. Thanks, Dan
racejmac Posted October 10, 2005 You may have a clearance issue with the swing arm... the middle number... 90 represents profile and a 90 is really tall... It should work you may have to run the wheel farther back that you usually do. Could constitute changing the chain... As for the front wheel question... Yes... Spoke count is the same. Dan Wask Posted October 10, 2005 Thanks, I know that the hieght of the tire won't be an issue as I'm running a 100/90/16 dirt tire. I got the tires this morning and there is no way they are gonna fit in the swing arm. I think I'm gonna end up lacing another front hub up to a rear wheel/
