wolffman1104 Posted October 10, 2005 I have a CRF "spec" Chinese pit bike, 125 cc, that I was told is based on the CRF 50. The kick starter arm is stripped of its splines, and have not been able to torque it tight enough for it to hold. Are the starter arms the same for all sizes small 4 stroke single Hondas? My local shop wants $90 for a new one, and thought I'd look aftermarket or used. Any help would be great. Wolffman
dirtbkr188 Posted October 10, 2005 Before you start splitting the cases to change the kickstarter shaft, you might want to find out if a complete gasket kit is available for your spec bike. You don't specify what make it is so there may not be parts available. Almost all of the Chinese-made bikes make the claim that they are Honda-compatible, which usually means that they were manufactured with outdated tooling machinery that Honda used to own.
