wideman12 Posted October 12, 2005 quick question for anyone who might have a suggestion. I have an 01 wr 250 with a yzf pipe on it. the jetting has the jd kit with a 180 in and clip 3 from top. i have tried many different settings and this one seems to have the best power and most throttle response. the thing is its slow to return to idle once you rev it it takes 6-10 seconds to return to idle. if anyone has any suggestions that might fix this problem i would apprectiate it. thanks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

James_Dean Posted October 12, 2005 Yes, the idle mixture is probably lean. Your needle setting is normally used at 6000-9000ft elevation. The fuel screw will need to be turned out or a ~#45 pilot jet will be needed. Thanks, James Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
