do what i did, I took my wifes camera. Then i went to fry's electronics and got a $30 surveillance cam. last radio shack and a battery pack..

Surf thats a great idea I can't believe I didn't think of it, I used to install Security systems and CATV systems for a living,,, duh you would think the thought would have crossed my mind to rig one up to work with a camcorder?

also what kinda quality is that survailance camera? how did u hook it up? i know the cheapest helmet cam made for motocross is 179$ its acually really clear and the camera has a good impact resistance to rocks etc...
