Thanks. As you can tell I'm new to the site. I have a DRZ400 'tarded, but I'm thinking of racing one along with my gixxer6, and the DRZ's not gonna be competative with the KTM's. And I can dirt ride it in the winter, if I can find an extra set of wheels.

i rode both the ktm's and the 450's side by side at a race track. the 450 was mine and the ktm's belonged to well.. Ktm. I tried their 250 and their 450 i think it was. The ktm's seemed soooo much smoother, and easier to manuever. the 450 seemed really heavy in corners and a lot of man handeling. probably because my bike wasnt setup. The funny thing is, the ktm's werent even their supermoto bikes, they were the regular dirt bikes with motard wheels and brakes. if you're just going to do motard i say get a ktm, if you're going to go with the 450, you better plan on re gearing. I topped out on the straight away every single time.
