Big Bore Jetting-RMZ

Recommended Posts

I am about to install a Crower Power 270 Big Bore in my RMZ 250, and am Curious about what changes i need to make in the jetting. I currently am running stock jetting and 2 turns out on fuel screw, my setup will be 270 big bore, FMF 4.1 Exhaust, and I ride around 1000 ft. above sea level. I know i will go up about 2 sizes on the main, but what about the pilot, fuel screw and neddle jet position, any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks

you will most likely need to go donw on the main, not up.

the bigger piston sends a stronger signal to the carb.basically needs less fuel.

i would personally ride it and adress any issues from there.
