Radiator cap?

Hey if any one knows where to get a high pressure radiator cap let me know. I already have a 1.6 on my bike but i have heard of ones that are higher pressure. thanks

KAWASAKI SELLS A 1.8 CAP. IT IS AN OPTIONAL CAP LISTED FOR THE KX65

do they sell this cap at every dealer? i have a striets honda shop close by, but they never even heard of a high pressure radiator cap, they didnt even know there was one that was as high as 1.6

Kawasaki part number for a 1.6 is 49085-1073...

whats the 1.8 part number and about how much does it cost

you don't want to go higher than 1.6, or you will blow your water pump seals, i did

how hard are those to replace? are there such things as high pressure water pump seals?

Pump seals won't blow if the pressure is too high. They will leak first. Over time, you may need to replace them. The 1.8 cap is an optional one for a KX65/125. The 125 uses the same seal as the 250f I think... Not a big worry.

Why get the 1.8 if the seals will leak? Won't I be speending more money on replacing the leaking seals, than buying more coolant?
