Recommended Posts

Well i just got the top end put back together the head bolts should be toqured to 16 lbs i think it is what it says in the book. All i have is a auto torgue wrench that starts out at 20lbs.Will that work.I got them tightened down two fingertight with a socket so i can put camechain on and set the tdc.I spun it around a couple of times to make sure nothing was hitting.Looks like a little oil is commingout of the gaskets will this screw up everything?

also the muffler head pipe looks to be comming apart any thoughts on a fix for this?Tyler is about to kill me.

thanks for any imput

get a better torque wrench... Buy a 3/8 drive that has inch pound and newton meters... It will pay off. If you overtorque the studs.... well it's just not good, I won't get into that now.

The oil leaks you have now are because nothing is torqued... you'll be fine.

The muffler...... It's already off... weld it.

Post a pic so I can see exactly where its separating...
