racer511 Posted October 16, 2005 what i would like to now is do you do anythinig to your suspension if you knowthere is going to be a wet sand track to race on. becaus i just started to race indoors and the dirt they use is this sand dirt mix that is kind of slipery and will make the front end dive. sorry if this is in the rong spot or any ting like that. T-Web 60 Posted October 16, 2005 The tires that you run will be more of a factor in the sand than your suspension
Twist1 Posted October 16, 2005 T-Web 60 is right. Worry about your tires, not your suspension.
Robbo66 Posted October 17, 2005 Depends how rough the sand gets. Bigger the whoops, more compression, with less rebound. If your front end is diving in too much, more compression. I do agree though, tyres can play a role.
Moto_Squid Posted October 17, 2005 sand tracks tend to get deeper whoops further apart. With dirt clicker settings you'll blow through the stroke then kick on the rebound. You need more compression and less rebound. Ride and experiment to find what works. http://www.mx-tech.com/tuning.asp
