DRZ off road ?

I bet sucks on single track, though. And the DRZ is faster. :banghead:

What the hell is that thing?

That's one of those digging machines they use at coal fields and such....

I saw them on a TV special a while back...That round head that looks

like a saw blade is actually very large "buckets" to scoop the coal/dirt

and there's a belt that carries it away along the supporting structure...

I saw one of the biggest one's being used in Germany in a coal strip mine...

Yeah...I saw that show on the discovery channel too. I think it was "Mega Machines". It is the quick way to eat a mountain down to a mole hill.

Spot on with the answer. Chris Barrie did a series on these sorts of machines but i cant remember the name of the programme.

Bucket wheel excavator....made by Krupp engineering. The discovery channel is still airing the show...at least in some areas. Check your local listings.

Two feet of liquid mud and clay, topped with three feet of water and silt, and it goes straight through it, flat in 3rd, and carrying 10 ton's of clay🤣

My DRZ won't, will yours:p

And it pulls good wheelie's, I'll try and get my mate to get a picture tomorrow, with the front wheels 3 foot off the ground.

yeah that thing moves at like 1/3 a mile an hour, and they got a D9 dozer stuck in the excavating wheel, just to give you an idea of the size! i have a whole powerpoint show on that thing, too.... i just don't have powerpoint so i can't extract the pics :banghead:
