Whips in Glamis

Recommended Posts

At Superstition, whips aren't required, although you see alot of people with them. I think that it's more of personal thing. At Glamis, don't even think about riding without one. Especially on a big holiday weekend. BLM will be all over you, if they see you. It's another excuse for checking stickers, spark arrestors, and for alcohol. I broke a whip out there and was riding back to camp to get another one and got stopped. He followed me back to make sure that I had another one, as there were no vendors out.

Most shops sell a quick-disconnect type. I don't remember the name. I usually just throw two cheap 3/4" wrenches in the gear bag. They only take a second to take off.
