What years pipe will fit my 05 CRF 450R?

Will only 05 specific slip on or full system pipes fit my bike? It seems they have changed a lot from 04 to 05 and then again from 05-06. The reason I am asking is because I know a guy selling a system from an 04 and I am wondering if it will fit.

Yes 05 is 05 only. In 05 they put the new frame on the 450 so no 04 will fit. Then in 06 they redisigned the subframe and moved the pipe mount from the frame to the subframe, so no to 06. Only 05 exhaust stuff will fit an 05 450.

04 and 05 pipes are the same. 06 is different
