ROUNDEYEHELMETHEAD Posted October 21, 2005 i just got an extended fuel screw for my fcr carb. i bought a white bros.one. due to the size of the head, it needs to be installed after the float bowl is on. only problem is the threaded portion does not fit thru the clearance hole in the float bowl. i guess i could drill the hole, but it seams risky. i just got this bike and would hate to f up my float bowl. should i drill it? or is the solution the zip ty one? got it from the tt store, so i'm kind of between a rock and a hard place. thanks
Wayward Son Posted October 21, 2005 you have to drill out the float bowl with a 1/4" drill bit.normal.
rockchucker22 Posted October 21, 2005 Or file it with a small round file.

Wayward Son Posted October 22, 2005 yes,as long as you are changing to a 38 pilot jet and the matching pilot air set up.
ROUNDEYEHELMETHEAD Posted October 22, 2005 wasn't aware of that. i'll do a search later. right now i have the 48 pilot in & c.i.connected. i'll see how that is first as i have not even ridden this bike yet. no problems drilling the bowl. i used a few bits, removing material slowly. thanks again. and thanks to tt for the quick shipping on the parts.
