caved in the muffler 650R

I just got back from O-wells and had a blast. My problem is I think I bottomed my rear suspension enough to push the brake caliper in to the muffler. Is their no bumpstop? is the muffler the bumpstop? Has anybody else done this? I am somewhat of a big bastard at 275. I've never changed the spring rate.

The stock muffler has a large indentation on the bottom inside that I believe you are looking at. This is stock Honda method to provide clearance between muffler and caliper.

Thanks oldturtle, I just came in from washing all the mud off. It does look like a factory dent, I just never noticed it before.
