I have a contingency card from honda with a couple hundred bucks on it from contingency this past year...when i go to the gas station to buy gas with it, do i press credit or debit when entering what kind of card it is?

I am pretty sure you are only going to able to use that at a Honda Dealer.

If you're refering to a Red Rider Rewards card, it's a debit card and should have a VISA logo on it. Good anywhere VISA is.

If you select debit, I would assume you will need/have a pin # then.

That's true, so I guess it's more like one of those 'prepaid' credit cards. Honda deposits the money in an account and you use the card to spend it (like a debit card) but you don't need a pin to use it, it spends just like a credit card, so I guess in the sense the OP was asking, you treat it like a credit card. Sorry for the confusion
