Leak And Starter Jets??

How do the leak and starter jets effect your jetting? What does the bike do to let you know you need different sizes?

The leak jet affects how much fuel the accellerator pump "squirts" into the engine; bogging when the throttle is opened is a symptom of leak jet problems.

The starter jet is only used when the choke is on; it allowsthe choke to be "adjusted" for warmer or cooler weather. Most guys run a #72 starter jet in the cooler weather.

I recently rejetted and it pulls great but when I am going down hill at 1/4 throttle it was sputtering. Is this the pilot jet or the leak jet?
