starting prob

hey

lately i've let my 125sx sit in the garage for a while and i tryed to start it with no luck. I used some starting fluid but i just made the bike rev and go ape shit. i cleaned the carb for hours

any suggestions ?

Check the electrode gap on the spark plug, and clean it up if there's any unbrunt fuel. My 03 will make the ekectrode gap too large and it will not start or run clean. Many times though, it's just the plug being fouled. you can just just scratch it clean with a fine wire brush, spray it with contact cleaner, then it should start. And turn the gas off, with the choke on, and full throttle when you start it. When the bike starts to die turn the gas on and it should run fine.

its a 2-stroke.. change your plug and it will fire right up.

if you clean carb, clean airfilter, change sparkplug, and put fresh gas in it, and it still doesn't start.. then you have a problem

try roll starting it though.. that allways works for me
