180 pound 250f with 34" seat height. Is this for real?

That's a mid sized bike....it's obviously going to weigh less because it's smaller. Unless you're really short and small that bike wouldn't be right for you. I'm sure the motor isn't the same as the CRF250 either.

It's a brand new CRF250X engine in a brand new CR85 frame. The CR85 frame, forks and swingarm are much lighter than the comparable parts on the CRF250X. These CR85 based bikes are more fun than should be legal.

AJ Wagonner (builder of the bikes) from Service Honda is already testing a version of this bike with a full pop CRF250 engine in it.

For a "starting price" of only $8999 I'd expect something lightweight...

Also the wheelbase would be much shorter..I bet that stock X motor feels like a ROCKETSHIP in that lil' chassis!! VERY cool.

If i were 5 foot nothing, i'd have one right now. Those things would be killer in the woods. THe 250x engine is all you would ever need for that chassis.

AJ let me ride the protype of this bike that he fitted a full-pop Frank Nye 120cc XR engine in. Fun doesn't begin to describe it

What she's probably going to get when I have the time is an CR85 Expert with an XR 200 engine. Who knows, maybe I'll put a Powroll 220 or 240 kit in. We had an XR200 for the summer to dink around with on our track and I think the character of that little engine suits my wife just fine...slow, dependable, thump!
