their not 700 bucks, i have a savage .21(the ones in the video). For just the truck i paid 400 and 125 to get started(fuel,batts,glow plugs etc) I now have over $400 in aftermarket parts

Unless you have several hundreds in aftermaket chassis improvements, wrecks like that will break the average RC truck into pieces. I used to like to jump my T-maxx, but it got too expensive keeping up with breaking stuff all the time. You at least need upgraded A-arms, bulkheads, shocks, tie rods, metal gear servos. Most of which are machined billet aluminum. Costs add up quick. I have probably 800 in my maxx and its still not worthy for jumps like those.

i got a lst, team losi super truck... $800 truck and a savage .25 but havnt taken off any big jumps yet. Just like 2-4 foot ones at mid speeds.. havnt broke anything major yet.
