I need a new one

Recommended Posts

:banghead:

thanks in advance, but I love this site and mostly lurke in the background, but today I have quick question and would really like your opinions, Its time for a new sprocket and chainring and chain, what would you recommend?

my current specs.

The bike- 2002 SX 400

rear sprocket- sprocket specialist 51tooth

front- 14

chain- o ring

Im definitly going with an O Ring chain but does brand really matter? I rarely get into 6th gear and would like to wheelie a bit easier, what should I get? brand and ratios, once again thanks my friends :banghead:

I like the DID X-rings the best for durability. I tend to run either Ironman or stealth sprockets but they are pricey. Any good name brand steel sprocket will last a long time if you're not concerned about the added weight.

Rk X-ring chain's are the only way to go!!!!! Sprockets.... Steel's work good just a little on the heavy side, but if u ride in the mud or sand they last a lot longer than those pop can pretty mx sprockets! :banghead:
