removing clutch

what is rhe trick to removing clutch on xr 50.... Ive got the cap off and can see a lock washer down in the hole.... it looks like a special socket is needed after unlocking the "tang" on the washer.............Im trying to tear into the bottom to find out what a noise is...... any suggestions

screwdriver hammer, remember how hard you hit it to break it loose, thats how tight youll need to make it.

screwdriver and a hammer like 5 o said, but use a real hammer, no rubber mallet, and a solid handel screwdriver, any rubber in there and youll be beating it all day and still not get it off, personal experiece talking on that one...

Use the a punch to get the thing off and order a socket from www.hondatrailbikes.com and mike should have it to you before you are readly to put it back together.
