Just wondering if anyone with pictures from the Baja 1000 this year wanted to post them in this thread. It'll be great for all of us who weren't able to come out to the GREATEST sporting event EVER!

here's a good one. the guys that put these together raced... i forget which class, but M/C for older guys... maybe sportsman. the lead duck in the particular team was the venerable Ron Bishop. If you don't know who he is, Google it

These photos are not the team that raced with Ron Bishop. That would be wcracing.com for those pics. I had the great honor to race and get drunk with Mr. Bishop. He's a legend.

Geez, I usually check the front tire by stopping the bike, putting down the kickstand, then kneeling by the tire....

This is my first post, I found the site while looking for info on 650r's and CRF150's. I'm going to get a couple of used bikes for my son and I after a few year dirt bike rest.

How did the Husky perform Irondude ?

Husky ran perfectly. No issues with the bike. The 650's out pulled us a bit on the longer straights--but it is a really tuff bike. We DNFed--so there where issues--just none with the motorcycle!

Im just going to change the oil and filter and will race it again this weekend.

Im no Husky fan, but that's pretty damned impressive, for a new bike model to go thru the Baja with no mechanical problems, all while going fast ! ... congrats
