hi chaps,

iv got a foam fillter on my bike,and its glued to the bit that fits on the carb,what do you use to clean them as i think petrol will melt the glue,also is it ok to spray it with wd40 after,

wd-40 is just a lubricant, not anything close to filter oil, ide rather run my filter dry than using wd-40 as a filter oil, just wash it with soap and water...let it dry and go get some filter oil from ur local shop or dirtbike website thats in ur country

I really like Klotz air filter oil. Its pretty cheap and sprays a red foam that is easy to apply and soaks in quickly.
