2001 Honda Cr 125 Oil Change Quantity

Recommended Posts

My 2001 CR250 calls for 750 cc or cm(3)

It's probably the same..being that my 03 RM125 took 750 also

Theres a procedure you can use if you cant measure the oil amount, it goes like this

(cited from the owners manuel from a 2001 CR250)

1.Run the engine for 3 minutes, then shut it off.

2.Wait 3 minutes after shutting the engine off to allow the oil to properly distribute itself in the clutch and transmission.

3.Support the CR in an upright position on a level surface.

4.Remove the il filler cap and check bolt from the right crankcase cover. A small amount of oil should flow out of the check bolt hole. Allow any excess oil to flow out of the check bolt hole.

5.If no oils flos out of the check bolt hole, add oil slowly through the oil filler hole until oil starts to flow out of the check bolt hole. Install the oil check bolt and filler cap.

6.Repeat steps 1-4.

7.After insepecting the oil level or adding oil, tighten the oil check bolt and filler cap securely.
