Plates for your bike

Recommended Posts

Who monitors TT? Is the FBI or CIA going to come after all of us with our barely legal bikes? :applause:

And who did anything illegal? Getting a plate from the DOL is illegal?

I witnessed the woman behind the 55dB sound laws chewing out one of our folks about our threads saying they were bringing a straight piped quad to Olympia for the hearing. The greens love to make us miserable in any way possible - including screwing with our plates. It wasn't that long ago that we got the ability to register conversions and then that was shut down again. These people are mean and they hate us. You are fools to flaunt circumventing the WACs. Just keep it to yourself.

Is Monaco in Washington state? Remember the Washington State Patrol can be like the SS Nazi, and they kinda dress the same too.

Why in the world would anyone post in excrutiating detail the execution of anything even remotely illegal? :bonk:

THEY monitor TT. THEY monitor TT. THEY monitor TT.

Get IT? :applause:

The transaction to my knowledge was perfectly legal. I never lied and I even waited for the cashier to hand me the plate before vanishing, I did not even do the grab and run, which I must say, I was quite tempted to do. Further more my bike now complies with all state and federal laws for Hiway and Biway use. The fact that I could plate mine and others can't only shows the ridiculous nature of our state. Here the minimum wage employee behind the desk can pick and choose what hits the road. And this whole time we thought that our votes and legislation did. WAKE UP at anytime in this state the rules can change. And the way they change is not legal or just. It is Washington.

Remember if you disagree with something, if you feel you are being violated, if you feel your freedom is being encroached upon, you should legally voice your concern, and you should do everything in your power to make the changes.

I like your attitude though. Imagine if our founding fathers had that mentality.

We would all be Brit's right now. Nothing against brit's, "God save the Queen and all", but I like freedom, and I don't mind stepping on toes to ensure my kids have a piece of it too.

I will probably have to leave the state of washington to find some freedom because of all the socialist waco's, but hey at least as I ride away I will be legal.

awesome!

you got all the reqs needed as far as I would be concerned. I had a DRZ, commuted to work (hwy 522 monroe to bothell) on it from time to time with only a head light, tail light, and plate. no turn singnals, mirrors, yada, yada. rode by cops numerous times, as long as you are not riding like an ass the cops don't even look.

They only way you know how to ride is like an ASS....... :applause:

Hmm Announcing my new Street Bike!!!

Nice job dude!

IMO you did it perfectly. The "You get more bees w/ honey...." approach is usually the best one in most situations.

This part concerns me a bit:

PLEASE get rid of that loud pipe or at the very least, only use it on MX tracks.

Holy crap, did I write that?

Man I'm getting OLD!

Cheers,

Tyler

I bought the bike and it came with that pipe on it. You know that NHK, so you best not be bustin my balls, or maybe I should prepare a special roost session for this SAT

And as for it being so loud that you can't hear your bike.... Well that I can not deny, but sometimes not being able to hear you or your bike is a good thing, so there :bonk:

Hi, all. DRZ-400S rider from Kodiak, AK here. I'll have a week to burn next week and just purchased ferry tickets to/from Homer so I can do a solo trip on the mainland. I know it's a little late in the season, but does anyone have any suggestions for places I can go?
Some places I've looked at:  East End Road (Homer), Crown Point Mine Trail (Kenai Peninsula), Hatcher Pass, McCarthy/Kennicott Mine, Chicken, Denali Hwy, etc.
I know it's a little late in the season, so some of these areas may not work (McCarthy/Kennicott comes to mind).  It will be my first time riding a motorcycle on mainland Alaska since 1999-2000.  Any suggestions/advice are greatly appreciated!

Anyone know of any good shops that offer vapor blasting or water blasting or vapor honing. It's all the same thing just different names.
Looking to have some aluminum street bike frames done so need a place that can handle larger pieces.
Some where close to Seattle east side Tacoma that you might recommend.
I found the motoshed in queen Anne but they can't do larger items.
