Cracked piston.....need advice

the bike is a wr400. lost all compression so i pulled the top end. got some crap under the valves and a craked piston. it's an old bike, and it has a lot of trick motard bits, so my instinct is part it out and sell as a rolling chassis. i'd hate to put 1500 into the engine only to have the bottom end go. any idea what a CA street legal rolling chassis wr400 should go for? $1500? :thumbsup:
