nice job!! looks really good

wow really good job how much did it cost

Wow. Now thats got to be one of the best restortion projects I've ever seen.

wow...100% better

Awesome. I have a 1984 Z50r. Over $300 invested in it not including the initial price of the bike. I also have one from 1988 and I used to have a 1980 model but that one was sold.

It's all there.

Wheelin's bike is awsome- I saw his stuff over on Planetminis.

A friend gave me a '79 Z50 which I gave to my son (sort of) for Xmas. After a few post XMAS rides we sent it off to get a complete work over. Jeff at minigunz is doing the work. We are not doing a show quality restore as my 6 y/o and then my 4 y/o will still use it but Jeff is tearing the whole thing apart and rebuilding from ground up. He told me not to sell it as the quality ones

will run forever and they are going up in value.

I elected to do the motor with NOS honda parts to keep the stock finish complete. Now I just need to find a clean tahitian red gas tank and put it away for when the boys are done riding.

I will post pics next week when I pick it up from Jeff. Can't wait.

I'm redoing my K3 Z50A. My stock tank was crap. I bought one of the clarke plastic tanks. Nice looking unit and should outlast the rest of the bike. I just applied a decal kit to it as well.
