OMG is all i can say about this

Recommended Posts

HI,

recently met a girl, (yeah its one of those stories)

she has a 03 ttr125 LE and has neglected the hell out of it.

insert me.

It's bone stock shes never changed the air filter,

been a year she said since she has changed the oil

has not lubed anyhting other than the chain once in a while

oh but she did manage to find a pink fuzzzy bar pad go figure

im going to get elbow deep in her bike this weekend.

since her bike has no oil filter im sure that all the free radicle

metal particles roaming in her engine have done their work.

since the clutch shares the same oil, would it hurt to put

an engine detergant, and clean oil in the bike, run that around the

block a few times to clean things up a bit, then change the oil again ,

would it hurt the clutch?

also planing on opening up her air box removing the snorkle

re jetting and cleaning her carb and installing FMF exhaust

lubing all cables, axles linkage, chain etc etc etc.

Were all of those things listed what you were going to do to her, or the bike?!? HA ha ha, I know that didn't help but you have to admit it was pretty damn funny.

If I did anything like that, I'd just give it an oil change then run it for 10 minutes or so then give it another. If I really wanted this chick I'd keep doing it until clean oil came out.

I wouldn't use any additives or flushes...

You'll have enough fun with the adjustments and maintenance to worry about the oil too much.

Not everyone needs or even wants anymore than good stock performance and sound levels. You may even be overly presumptuous to expect her to have same values about the motorcycle as you do. So if "recently met" really means "recently met" then I would rec'm changing motor oil once and forget the flush; clean and lube stock air filter and grease face; adjust valves and chain. Then lube everything you suggested until your hearts content. The idea of installing new pipe and opening air box has potential for harm due to jetting req'm plus she and others will now be forced to put up with all the noise. We will take this risk with our own rides because of our personal desires but GF or others could see things differently. If you need to spend more money then consider a BBR frame cradle, BBR chain guide, or something similar that she can really use.

already have the bbr chain guide on order.

and i hear there are complictions with the frame cradle. anyone had any problems.

and she wants the pipe and its a really really good deal 150 for the complete FMF system a lot better than the 800 for my 450's ..

as far as opening up the air box and rejetting not a big deal for me . ive got no problems there jetting it right. just want to allow more air and fuel into the bike.

thanks.. (still mistified that there s no oil filter element...... )

so... are you doing all this out of the sheer kindness? is she paying you, or are you hoping for a make out session?

seems like a lot of work for someone you don't know.

not that its a bad thing... just doesnt happen often.

This nice guy posts his thoughts and asks for input, and we turn it into a porn. Maybe it is because the girlfriends and babes are gone from pics and vids.

Seriously, check the chain to make sure it's tight. That can also tell you how many different people have rode it......

Sorry, can't help it!

You're on the right track though, and as far as the frame cradle goes, I just put one on about two weeks ago. I took off the pipe to do it. I bolted the back first, then pushed and pulled (damn there I go again) the front until I could slide one of the front bolts in (I'm really serious). I used a punch to flex the cradle enough to get to the holes. It's not the easiest thing in the world but if you can rejet I am sure you'd be alright.
