Any advice for my new 06 450?

I pick up my 06 YZ450F this Friday. Have not ridden much at all since I sold my 04 250F two months ago, and have admittedly been out of the TT loop lately. Wondering if anyone would be kind enough to give me the short list of issues or concerns that might have cropped up in the forum?

Only thing I have experienced around here is one early clutch failure on a 06 250F, but nothing else. Is my new toy really that good? :thumbsup:

A little over a year ago I bought a crf ( cant run forlong) 250 because of the handling. The ragazines help with this decision by saying many mxrs were faster on the 250f's because they were easier to ride. This past weekend was my first on my 06 Le . I have only moved the forks up and this thing handles better than my crf250 which i have spent a ton on suspension and motor. And I am way faster now. Just ask my runnin buddies that used to keep up. The best part is how light is feels in the air. Oh and how easy it is to change directions in berm and pass your buddy while he's trying to roost you. I can't wait to see how much better it is after i change the front tire and put new handle bars on it. Sorry about the run on but two weeks ago with a 'cant run forlong' 250 needing another valve I was suffering for acute crf syndrome. My Buddie recommended a dose of Yamaha and now I'm able to smile,and enjoy riding again.

Issues and concerns? None. Just replace the front tire with a Dunlop 756, jet it, set the sag, and go ride.

Of course, you can do like me and powdercoat the wheels/hubs, and put on carbon fiber clutch cover, ASV levers/perches, carbon fiber frame guards, Boyesen water pump cover/impeller, Enzo racing subtanks, Tag sprockets, DID ERT chain, carbon fiber chain guide, Hammerhead billet shifter, Pro Tec billet kickstarter, etc.

I am changing the stock chain for a quality RK O ring one and doing the front tire. the bars will have to wait and see how it feels. I wasn't going to get one until I rode a buddys and was faster on it than my own bike.
