40 years young, just bought first street bike,2007 husky sm 610, had 1400 miles on it when purchased, i've put just over 300 miles on it, loved every mile until the head gasket blew, any body heard of this happening with so few miles?

There were a few reported cases back when the 07's came out , lots of theory's about why , - but a new gasket and torqued down correctly seems to be a full-term fix,

enjoy the bike , they are excellent..!!

50 yrs young this year, got my 1st Hoooska (94 TE610) 3 years ago and love it. WIsh it had e-start just cuz i'm old and keep forgetting to turn the switch on! The left side kick isn't so bad once you get use to it! Would love to change the colors though...Having trouble finding white tank shrouds...anybody have suggestions where to look? I tried plasticus.com but they didn't advertise shrouds for that year!

Well, I already posted on here prior to this weekend. We went riding to Johnson Valley (Ca) where my son decided to try out my bike. He's been intimidated by it because of it's height and his lack of experience riding a bike. He as did his buddy (both 21) rode it and fell in love with it. I may have lost my ride but to a good cause!
