Xr100 carb. on a xr80

Will the 03 100 carb.,intake,airbox fit on the 01-80,Are the cables the same? I have installed a stage one hot cam,white bros, pipe,Will the power gains be worth the change?? THANKS

The 100 carb is a better carb. The intake will fit but the 100 intake opening is larger than the intake opening on the 80 head. At least thats how it is on the older 80/100 points style engines and I dont think they have changed much. I took a dremel and ported out a 80 head to match a 100 intake and bolted on the 100 carb and intake and noticed a considerable increase in performance.
