Is popping going to hurt my bike?

Recommended Posts

You may want to install an externally adjustable fuel screw. This enables you to make the mixture richer or leaner trackside or on the trail. You probably would not have to rejet to solve this, just richen the fuel mixture a bit if the weather is colder. As the weather warms up, you can adjust the fuel screw to compensate for the weather change. It's pretty common with 4 strokes.

Thank you all for your responses. I have tried to richen it up a bit.(by turning it out one turn) but, then from idle, when I WOT it it bogs.

I had the same problem as you.. play with you're fuel screw. If you changed it and it bogs then you need to do what matt said, adjust you're jetting. Once you're jetting is set then future problems will most likely be fixed by adjusting you're fuel screw. A Zipty Racing fuel screw is a good investment.
