04 Valve Seat Machining

Anyone out there know what the big secret is? (if there is one)

When you re-machine the valve seats, are you really doing any more than taking a few thousaths off and re establishing the seat angle?

If anyone could post up some info or send me in the right direction I'd appreaciate it.

The reason I'm asking is we're going to be rebuilding an 04 250 top end with new valves & everything. I've got a shop with 35 4 & 5 axis CNC mills, so I really don't see the point of my friend having to send out his head for a week or longer to be machined when we could do it here in a couple of hours. I just need the specs.
