Greenville, S.C. places to ride MX

Recommended Posts

I am going to Greenville, S.C. this weekend and was wondering where the best motocross tracks are within an hour or so?

I don't ride motocross, so I can't really tell you how good they are personally.

LOTS of people ride http://www.strawberryhillmx.com/ and say it is great. It isn't far from G'ville.

Southern FreeStyle MX also has a track. Not sure how great it is. Its about a 1/2 N of downtown G'ville. http://www.ncdirtrider.com/html/tracks/sctracks.htm

Hope this helps!

Michael and I stopped at Southern Freestyle in Travelers Rest on the way back from Atlanta on Sunday to check it out. They were just making a new track down in the woods apart from the one inside the old dirt track oval. It looked pretty well thought out and the guy on the dozer seemed to know what he was doing. I think the hours were 12:00 to 5:00 Sat and Sun, and $15/day to ride.

Cool! I've seen that track inside the oval but I've never ridden on it. Looks fairly small/easy. What did the track in the woods look like?

From what I hear, it is actually kinda difficult. Because it is kinda small, the jumps are pretty close to the corners. You gotta be getting ready for jumping really quick coming off the berms.

But like I said, all hearsey
